We are using the navigation SDK to do walking route navigation. The routes API supports passing wheelchair accessible routes, but I don't see any option in the navigation SDK for this. Is this something that can be done or a feature that needs to be added to the SDK?
Proposal
The route options should take the accessibility option.
Note: This issue was mentioned in the route token support commit, but that change doesn’t address the wheelchair case because route tokens are currently supported only for the DRIVING travel mode.
So this remains a valid feature request, but we can’t implement it until the underlying SDKs add support for wheelchair travel mode (or route tokens beyond DRIVING).

Hi @hamedhemmati
This package is wrapper for native Android and iOS Google Maps Navigation SDKs and only implement features availeble on those libraries.
Currently these underlaying libraries do not support accessiblity options
Android: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/navigation/android-sdk/reference/com/google/android/libraries/navigation/RoutingOptions
iOS: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/navigation/ios-sdk/reference/objc/Classes/GMSNavigationRoutingOptions
Before this option is available on the SDKs we should support setting routeToken for the route, see #343

The routeToken is a nice workaround but we won't be able to do recalculation unless we make another API call to generate a new walkingPath polyline.
Should I open the feature request in the native packages? Accessibility is a pretty important feature for walking directions.

@hamedhemmati
Yes, feature requests and bug reports for the underlying native SDKs should be submitted via the support form in the support console.
