Senior Software Engineer · Backend & Platform Architect
Building scalable digital payment platforms, financial systems, and cloud-native distributed services for modern fintech ecosystems.
I am a software engineer focused on building digital payment platforms, financial systems, and distributed backend architectures.
Currently working at McLaren Strategic Solutions, where I have been involved in building and evolving a compliance-focused financial platform from the ground up. My work spans digital payments, transaction processing, payment integrations, backend architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and engineering standards.
I work across the full lifecycle of a platform, from architecture and technical design to implementation, deployment, observability, and operational reliability.
My experience includes building payment flows across multiple rails, integrating payment service providers, designing event-driven transaction processing, developing wallet and financial capabilities, and establishing engineering standards across a large microservice ecosystem.
Most of my professional work is in private enterprise repositories. This profile highlights my engineering interests, public work, and selected technical explorations.
| Domain | Focus |
|---|---|
| Digital Payments | Payment processing, payment orchestration, digital wallets, transaction lifecycle |
| Payment Rails | ACH/NACHA, ISO 8583, card payments and bank payment integrations |
| Payment Integrations | Stripe, PayPal, Checkout, Rapyd, Authorize.net and other payment providers |
| Financial Platforms | Compliance platforms, transaction systems and financial infrastructure |
| Backend Architecture | Node.js, NestJS, Go, Java, microservices and API design |
| Distributed Systems | Kafka, Redis, event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing |
| Cloud & Infrastructure | Microsoft Azure, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform |

I believe good architecture is about building systems that are reliable, scalable, secure and easy to evolve.
My approach focuses on:
- Clear service boundaries and ownership
- Reliable transaction processing
- Strong API and contract design
- Idempotency and failure handling
- Event-driven architecture where it provides real value
- Observability and operational readiness
- Security and compliance by design
- Automation over repetitive manual processes
- Architecture decisions driven by measurable requirements
- Building and evolving digital payment and financial platforms
- Working on distributed transaction processing and payment infrastructure
- Exploring payment orchestration and digital wallet capabilities
- Contributing to architecture standards and technical governance
- Exploring AI-assisted software engineering and agentic workflows
- Deepening expertise in Go, distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Growing toward Senior Lead Engineer / Technical Lead / Platform Architect responsibilities
A significant portion of my engineering work is in private enterprise repositories, so the public contribution graph represents only a part of my overall engineering activity.
